Joann Baly, LCSW

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Joann Baly, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and confidence.

With over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and physical impairments, I’ve learned that true healing begins when we feel seen, supported, and understood. My work focuses on helping adults and adolescents (13+) manage life transitions, anxiety, depression, substance use, and adjustment difficulties that can leave us feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

My approach is holistic and collaborative — I look at the whole person, considering the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that shape your well-being.

Together, we’ll work to identify patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and goals. My goal is to help you move from surviving to thriving — developing resilience, inner strength, and a renewed sense of balance.

In our sessions, you’ll find a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to explore, heal, and grow. Whether you’re adjusting to new life circumstances, facing emotional stress, or working through recovery, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
